Godzilla Minus One has been my favorite movie ever since I saw it almost three years ago towards the end of its theatrical run. I was both excited and scared about the prospect of a sequel. Would the new movie ruin the original masterpiece retroactively? Would it not have been better for the creative team to just quit while they were ahead? But I need not have worried.
